We are seeking a Machinist responsible for operating machinery and tools to produce metal and plastic parts adhering to precise specifications as well as machining small batches or individual parts as required.

Must have conceptual skills and mathematics skills such as basic algebra, geometry and trigonometry. Knowledge of speeds and feed for various cutting tools on a variety of materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Tooling set-up. Coordination, attention to detail, and sound judgment. Lift up to 75 pounds. Experience using the following machinery: Milling machine, lathe, grinding machine, band saw, hydraulic and hand presses, and circular sanders, as well as measuring tools, such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, precision and combination squares, linear scales, etc.  Perform routine maintenance tasks, communicate with engineers, production personnel, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems, maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. CNC operation and Programming experience, MillPower G2 and Proto-Trak desired.

Inside Industrial Sales – Technical Sales

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic self-starter to work in our growing Vacuum Components Sales group. Experience at the dealer level or manufacturer level in pneumatics or industrial machinery would be desirable. Anver Corp. is a manufacturer of robotic vacuum systems components and vacuum material handling equipment. If you have a good mechanical aptitude and understanding of common machinery concepts this job will interest you. We are actively seeking an individual to assist with inside technical sales. This person is responsible for handling incoming customer telephone, email, and fax requests for industrial products. The daily functions of this position are to select equipment, price items, and prepare quotations for customers. The inside sales person works with and supports the engineering dept. as well as the rest of the inside staff. This position interacts with various depts. to insure customer satisfaction, on orders both domestic and foreign. Qualified candidates should have a four year college degree, technical aptitude, and creative problem solving abilities. An engineering degree is highly useful. If you have an engineering degree you would be handling more technical applications while others would handle other tasks. Candidates must be self-motivated and possess a willingness and desire to learn product lines and new information.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Must have proficient computer and math skills. Positive energy as we work in groups.
  • Candidates should enjoy a variety of work and apply time management skills and possess an ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Good organization skills are essential. If you know any international languages that is a plus.

Design Engineer

We are looking for a well-organized Engineer. This position entails design engineering functions producing detail layouts and drawings in SolidWorks, product and procedure documentation, and BOM creation for our line of industrial vacuum lifting equipment and components. Designs consist of structural members and fabrications, rubber molded parts, sheet metal parts, machined parts, and castings, as well as basic electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic system design. Projects range from individual small precision components to large assemblies for vacuum handling machinery. We need a versatile, experienced, hands-on individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.

We are a 48 year old, growing manufacturing company in an expanding market for ergonomics, vacuum lifting and robotic automation. We have an extensive website at www.anver.com which shows what we do. The job reports to the VP of Engineering & Production and works closely with Sales and Applications engineers on a diversity of design projects.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline with relevant experience. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Mechanical Design Engineering in SolidWorks with PDM and/or EPDM, Manufacturing BOM Creation and Engineering Documentation. Experience with structural analysis and basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems are necessary. Project Management experiences a plus.
