Vacuum Leakage Detector Sounds Alarm When Vacuum Level Drops

ANVER Vacuum Leakage Detector Sounds Alarm when Vacuum Drops

A new solid-state vacuum leakage sensing system that is pre-programmed to activate an alarm when a 10% reduction of the vacuum is detected, or signal another I/O device such as an emergency stop function on a controller, has been introduced by ANVER Corporation of Hudson, Massachusetts.

The ANVER VLS-07 Series Vacuum Leakage Sensing System features pressure sensors, a microprocessor, an LCD display for inches Hg, an audible warning horn, a red light, and a test button. Providing positive leak detection, it is a peak seeking device that will activate an alarm when a 10% reduction of vacuum is detected, and will continue until a sufficient increase in vacuum has been achieved or the indicated level drops below 5″ (12.7 cm) Hg.

Suitable for use on non-porous loads with any stand-alone vacuum equipment, the ANVER VLS-07 Series Vacuum Leakage Sensing System sets itself based upon the maximum vacuum of the host. Powered by a 9V lithium battery, it has a low battery indicator and features an output jack for connecting a loud auxiliary siren (105 dB) and flashing strobe, or for connecting to another I/O device.
